These images appear to be of mixed genres. They are a mixture of different types of genres such as street photography, fashion and still life. The photo called "invisible man" is a staged photo because i never seen that much lights before in a single room and also how the room is set up to which gives me clues that its obviously staged for something like a photoshoot also the name of the photos make it looked staged to.The artist might want to mislead the view because at a first look i thought it was a street photography but then i realised that its mixed with different genres the artist might have done this because he wanted the viewers to explore and really open their minds to think of other genres it could be. The images leave me with a few questions such as why did they take this images and what is the meaning behind them. All of these pictures have similar style such as the clothes and how its laid out they all have used the same colour type like dull colours such as brown, grey, yellow, dark red. |
- i decided to chose these images because they really stood out to me when i first saw them the shops are very similar because they are in the same colour These images have different colours in them some are dark colours and some are light also the style of the shops are laid out different they are giving very much Italian and greeks they are very dull colours and eye catching as well. They was trying to compare different shop fronts to see the different styles. These images make me feel inquisitive about the shop fronts like why would they chose that design and the colour of the shops. Why did she take these images? did she have a meaning behind these images? are there e different specific shop fronts you like? These shops are all in rows i feel like the photographer has a specific type of shops she likes to take if i would like to take these images i would frame it like square pictures i would stand in front of the shop to take the pictures because i would want the full image of the shop to be in the picture but i would only like to focus on the writing and the design of the shop i wouldn't have that many people in the photo and i would like to take the pictures in the morning or afternoon because i would like to get the detail if it was in the night it wouldn't be as much detail as before
I decided to use these pictures from Zoe because i thought these pictures really stood out to me because of the colours and how the shop front was styled they are all different shop fronts that we normally don't see on a daily.Im quite pleased on how they look because of the pattern i wanted to make them different from shops that we see now. I'm also not pleased with them because of the quality of some of thew pictures they are not great because it doesn't show the details as much.if i would take these pictures again i would maybe get some people in the background.

I think that threshold concepts may be useful because it’s s there to help use develop new skills and help us improve on our work to. Threshold concepts can teach us a lot about photography it tells us that there are many different parts to photography and thats it all not one big thing it also tells me that there are different ways to explain our work from what i have learnt already in photography it can help me a lot since i have found out about threshold concepts my work has been a lot better

Peter Mitchell mostly takes his photographs in the city and public areas these photographs say about the ares is mostly old places that were built a very long time ago these pictures give off a very neutral mood its a very calm one to the reason i think of that is because the colours in the pictures are mostly dull and some bright colours so it gives off that vibe i mostly think that he uses a digital camera to take these pictures i don't think he uses a film camera because of hoe the picture quality is.
The colours in these pictures are very dull and boring but they also give out a meaning to these pictures it would be even better if he uses brighter colours in the photographs but they are very different to any other photographs I've seen and wrote about the similar and the same time The images leave me with a few questions such as why did they take this images and what is the meaning behind them i thought these pictures really stood out to me because of the colours and how the shop front was styled.

he is best known for using a camera obsura technique where he blacks out a room save for a 3/8-inch hole that allows light to pass through and strike the surface inside where the image is reproduced upside-down but with color and perspective preserved.what is camera obscura.
In its simplest form, a camera obscura is a dark room with a small hole in one wall. when the light is bright outside the the light shines through the small hole and it projects a upside down image on the buildings at school onto the wall.
